Finally caved and got the 7-foot pre-lit tree this year, and the app-controlled LEDs are surprisingly intuitive—I've already changed the color patterns four times. Assembly took maybe 15 minutes total, and the branches look full enough that it doesn't scream "plastic.
Was worried it’d look fake, but the realistic branches and adjustable LED brightness through the app make it feel like a real tree. Setup took maybe ten minutes with the easy-to-assemble design.
The app setup was straightforward—connecting the lights took maybe a minute. The tree looks realistic enough, though I wish the branches were a bit fuller near the bottom. Still, it's a solid upgrade from my old string lights.
